At your initial treatment appointment, you will be required to wear safety glasses and rest comfortably on a treatment table. A small handpiece will then deliver laser light directly onto the targeted area within minutes; with results both noticeable and long-term.
Laser light pulses absorb melanin in the hair and convert into heat, disabling or destroying hair follicles that produce unwanted hair. This method works best on dark hair; however, it will not work on blonde, red, or gray tones. Due to this being effective with dark locks only and not effective against blonde, red, or gray tones; therefore multiple sessions over 4-8 weeks should be scheduled so as to gradually eliminate new hairs as they enter their growth phase – most patients achieve their desired results within 6 treatments; however this depends heavily upon genetic makeup and other factors affecting individual results as well.
The Application

For optimal results, it is vital that you avoid tanning prior to laser sessions and only apply broad spectrum sunscreen after. Our laser’s wavelength works most effectively against melanin pigment found in hair and skin pigmentation, and shaving removes only surface hair shaft without disturbing follicles. To ensure you achieve maximum effectiveness, it is suggested that you shave one day prior to an appointment since this will ensure smooth results without discomfort to follicles.

To achieve the best results, a series of treatments is required. Laser energy will target melanin in hair follicles to heat and destroy them – effectively stopping any future hair growth.
